Developing your garden

Many people have sizeable gardens which are suitable for building an additional property. Such a development can be done in a tax-efficient manner as long as some thought is applied to the problem at the outset.
The main issue is to retain the principle private residence exemption on the sale of the land. There are specific conditions to be met in retaining this exemption. The key to this is to discuss the issues with us and find a suitable approach prior to starting any sale or development.
